Invitation for Public Comment Re: Section of Harvest Moon Trail
Thursday, September 29, 2022
The Cornwallis River Pathways Society (the Society) has requested the Municipality consider assuming responsibility of the section of the Harvest Moon Trail located between the western boundary of the Town of Kentville and Sharpe Brook, Cambridge.

The Society’s request relates to the Municipality applying to the Nova Scotia Department of
Natural Resources and Renewables for the issuance of a replacement Letter of Authority (LOA).
More specifically, the request of Council is to consider applying for an LOA that is based on the
same terms and conditions as contained in the present-day LOA the Society operates under,
e.g., no motorized vehicles on this section of the trail, except for snowmobiles.
