New Subdivision By-Law (2025) and Municipal Service System Specification Manual (2025).

The draft of By-Law 114 – Subdivision By-Law and the Municipal Service System Specification Manual were presented to the Planning Advisory Committee on May 22, 2025.

The Planning Advisory Committee held a Public Participation Meeting on June 10, 2025. The Planning Advisory Committee, directly following the Public Participation Meeting forwarded a positive recommendation to Municipal Council to give First Reading to and hold a Public Hearing regarding By-Law 114 – Subdivision By-Law (2025) and Municipal Service System Specification Manual (2025).

Planning Advisory Committee reviewed the application on September 9, 2025 and recommended that Council give First Reading to the application.

The application was given First Reading by Municipal Council at its meeting on October 7th, 2025.

NEXT STEP: A Public Hearing was approved by Municipal Council and is scheduled for Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at 6:00 pm. The hearing will take place in Council Chambers and is open to the public. Members of the public can also listen or watch live at www.countyofkings.ca.

It has come to staff's attention that all the relevant proposal information was not provided in the initial Public Information Meeting. The planner initially assigned to this file has departed the Municipality. A new presentation was created and recorded by the planner now assigned to the file.

A new Public Information Meeting will be held in the community at a date to be determined, notification letters will be sent out, and the date will be posted on the Municipal website.
