A Public Information Meeting was held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Fundy View Community Centre at 4120 Highway 359, Halls Harbour.
Planning Advisory Committee reviewed the application on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and recommended that Council give Initial Consideration to and hold a Public Hearing for the application.
The application was given Initial Consideration by Municipal Council at its meeting on May 5, 2026 at 6:00pm, and Council authorised a Public Hearing for June 2, 2026. The application was reviewed by Municipal Council at its meeting held on June 2, 2026 to receive Final Consideration and was Approved by Council.
NEXT STEPS: The appeal period for the application expired on June 18, 2026. The Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board has confirmed that no appeals were filed against the approved amendments to the development agreement.
