I was first elected as Councillor for District 9 in October 2016 and re-elected in October 2020. District 9 encompasses the communities of Avonport, Bishopville, Forest Hill, Gaspereau, Grand Pré, Greenfield, Hants Border, Hortonville, Lockhartville, Melanson, Newtonville, Robinson Corner, Wallbrook, West Brooklyn and White Rock. Glooscap First Nation is also situated in District 9.
I am looking forward to another four years as Councillor for District 9 in the County of Kings. A lot has been accomplished in the past four years, but there is still more work to do. It’s been a busy first term and many exciting projects have been undertaken and brought to completion.
Every day I look forward to the opportunity I have been given, to get out in the community and make a real difference. Whether it be through the various community boards and organizations I work with, or providing much needed funds to deserving community groups and projects.
I see the pride that the residents of District 9 have in their community, and those who volunteer to make their community a better place for their neighbours and future generations. Through my work as Councillor for District 9, I also share in this pride and strive to keep the momentum going for another term as Councillor for District 9.
