Harvest Moon Trail (Grand Pré to Kingston)
5 km•Easy
The 110-kilometre Harvest Moon Trailway stretches across the Annapolis Valley through beautiful towns along the former railbed, connecting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Grand Pré to the historic seaside town of Annapolis Royal.
As you travel through Kings County, you will have the chance of seeing apple orchards, farmers' fields as well as the meandering Cornwallis River. Hiking along the towns of Wolfville, Kentville and Berwick, is a unique experience.
Even if the majority of the Harvest Moon Trail is shared use, the trail section of Grand-Pré to Cambridge Station does NOT permit motorized vehicles.
The Harvest Moon Trailway is accessible during all seasons. Fall presents a full array of spectacular foliage colors and orchard and vineyard activity along the trail. Winter provides enjoyment for cross country skiers, snowmobilers, snow-showers, and hikers.
