Sign Regulations
The Municipality of Kings regulates signage through the Land Use By-law. The ability to develop and options for signage are based on the zone in which the property is located. Please refer to the Interactive Public Atlas to identify which zone governs the property.
Properties installing on-site signage are required to first obtain a permit for a sign. Signs can include projection signs, wall signs, ground signs and roof signs. Additional approvals may be required for signs that project into the street/sidewalk.
Once you are aware of the development limitations of your property, you can begin to plan your project.
