Greenwood Water Utility Annual Fall Hydrant Flushing Slated for Nov. 10-14

The Municipality will be flushing hydrants and water mains for the Greenwood Water Utility the week of Nov. 10-14. This work can temporarily result in low water pressure or discoloured water. Please read this Service Advisory for more information for customers noting a change in their water pressure, or the colour of their water, during this time.

Kings REMO Emergency Coordination Centre De-Activation

Kings County, N.S. - The Kings REMO Regional Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) de-activated at 7 p.m. Oct. 9. Lake George Wildfire Recovery efforts will continue to be monitored remotely by the Regional Emergency Management Coordinator.

Thank you to all provincial departments, first responders, municipal staff, volunteers and agencies that supported, and continue to support, Kings County during the Lake George Wildfire.
