FORWARD, TOGETHER.

The past several weeks have brought both uncertainty and clarity to our lives – all
caused by a health crisis, which then precipitated an economic one.

Those who survive these assaults on our society will have personally witnessed or
experienced through family or friends the pain of illness co-joined with the grief of loss
and the consequences of a ravaged economy.

The Municipality of the County of Kings recognizes hardship, for some, is unfortunately
inevitable. We know the coming weeks and, possibly, months will be challenging for all.
Successfully getting through these challenging times necessarily requires all levels of
government to work together in service of our people and business communities.

The Municipality shall, as always, work with our citizens, business community, municipal
partners, provincial and federal colleagues to move forward, together.
