                Elimination of Hamlet designation and zones

                Agricultural Areas
                   Elimination of development options for pre-94 and poor soils lots

                   Limited rezoning options in the Agricultural (A1) Zone
                   Creation of the Rural Mixed Use (A2) Zone that enables more rural industrial development
                   near resource areas but not on good agricultural land

                Shoreland Areas
                   Different  application  of  the  Lakeshore  Residential  (S1)  Zone  and  the  Lakeshore  Limited
                   Development (S2) Zone
                      S1 has been applied to areas that are mostly developed
                      S2 has been applied to areas that are mostly undeveloped
                   Better Lake Water Quality protection
                      larger lot and frontage requirements for the S2 zone
                      limited planning options that would enable higher densities around lakeshores
                   Permission of recreational cabins requiring a reduced standard for finishing within the

                Large Scale Wind Turbines
                   Wind  Turbine  Overlay  created  in  southwest  portion  of  Municipality  that  enables  the
                   development of large scale wind turbines as-of-right
                   Overlay  located  a  minimum  of  3  kilometres  from  any  dwelling  and  the  Cloud  Lake
                   Wilderness Area
                   Overlay area made up primarily of Crown Lands
